Tendayi Kusaya – Being two years younger, I found myself involved in everything my older brother was doing. I used to play the drum while he played mbira and that is how I discovered my natural rhythm and love for all kinds of music. In time.Danmore taught me to play the mbira too.We eventually formed a band called “Two Brothers Mbira”. I learned to play bass from US musician Glenn Wilson, who in turn learned to play mbira from me. I really enjoy music and for me it’s the only way to live. My hope is to see the world through my music, to share my roots with those willing to listen and to feel the magic of the mbira and the drum.
