World Music Special! with Dan Kusaya

A Fusion of Global Rhythms

I’m Dan Kusaya, a Zimbabwean one-man band blending mbira, marimba, drums, and live looping. My World Music Special! combines traditional Zimbabwean songs and original compositions with Chimurenga, Afrobeat, jazz, and Afro house, bringing energy and cultural connection to every stage.

I offer performances and hands-on workshops in marimba, mbira, drumming, singing, and dance for schools, festivals, and community groups. For larger events, I also perform with my full band, Dan Kusaya & The Chimurenga Inspiration.
